Paneer Tikka- Jain Recipe

the indian answer to barbecues, an irresistible paneer tikka made of paneer, capsicum and tomatoes marinated in a slightly spicy tandoori marinade.

  • 6 square pieces of cottage cheese(paneer)
  • 6 square pieces of capsicum
  • 6 square pieces of tomatoes
  • 250 gms hung curd
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp chat masala
  • 1/4 tsp dhania powder
  • salt to taste

  • in a bowl take hung curd and mix with the chilli powder, salt, chat masala, turmeric, dhania powder.
  • marinate the paneer, capsicum and tomatoes in the batter and leave aside for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • in a hot pan spread cooking oil and than put the marianted paneer , capsicum and tomatoes.
  • fry them till the brown colour comes on both sides.
  • now put these tri colours on a toothpick and serve with chutney.
