Shahi Toast- Jain Dessert Recipe

shahi toast is a rich dessert and it lives up to its name. pieces of bread that have been deep fried till golden brown and crisp are topped with the very popular rabdi and garnished with loads of dry fruits and some varq.



  • 3-4 bread slices
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • oil for frying

  • cut the bread slices into 4 pieces and then fry it in a pan till the brown colour comes.
  • in another pan heat the water and sugar to make a sugar syrup.
  • ad dthe fried bread pieces into sugar syrup and take it off.
  • garnish it with rabri and almonds or with whisked malai.
  • serve hot.
